SUSTAINABLE BREWERY
The brewery of Marsinne adheres to a sustainable development approach. Indeed, the brewing process is optimised by reducing or even eliminating the various wastes, such as yeast, brewing water, cleaning products… in order to minimise the impact of the company on the environment. The brewery does not use paper labels, or glue, to avoid the use of surfactants and detergents and thus reduces the energy demand and water consumption. Moreover, the ingredients used are either from organic farming or are locally produced.

Its extended conditioning and mellowness offers a pleasant balance of floral aromas and notes of citrus. The 3 grains and 3 hops reveal themselves in a smooth and intense head with a slight post-bitterness. The use of wheat imparts a pleasant astringency at the back of the mouth that makes you want to have another sip.
AN ARTISANAL BREWERY LADEN WITH HISTORY AT THE HEART OF THE NATURE PARK OF THE BURDINALE
The Hamlet of Marsinne in Couthuin represents a surprising open-air museum. Indeed, three historic farms concentrated on its land are among the oldest of Hesbaye. These constructions are in close proximity and constitute an outstanding architectural ensemble that has evolved little since the 17th century.
In the 12th century, this domain used to be called “La Derlière de Marsinne” and took its name from the exploitation of “derle”, a ball clay that made the Andenne ceramic famous. In 1866, a certain Leopold was managing a brewery in the Castle-Farm of Marsinne. In 2012, Nicolas Declercq and Tanguy van der Eecken decided to retake the place and revive the brewery business of the olden days.
