Porc Fermier and Porc plein Air: PROMAG control
All products use premium quality pork, produced from organic agriculture under the brands “Ardenne BIO”, “Porc Fermier” and “Porc Plein Air”
From the farm to the consumer's plate, PQA controls all its processes: rearing, fattening, transport, slaughter, cutting, and preparing meat and cooked pork meat. PQA only markets products from its farms. From half pigs to fresh sausages and from Ardennes ham to Ardenne sausages, everything is produced in modern facilities in accordance with CEE standards.
Founded in 1989 by 14 producers and a butcher, the co-operative Porcs Qualité Ardenne (PQA) is located in Malmedy in the Belgian Ardennes.
The farmers, currently 120 of them, produce 3 kinds of pork according to strict specifications, controlled by recognised independent certifying bodies: Promag asbl for the “Porc Fermier” and “Porc Plein Air” and Certisys for the “porc BIO”. All the standards are officially recognised by the Walloon Region, for differentiated quality.
